Default Rear Fenders

I've had my 2001 S2000 for about a year now.

I've noticed dings and slight curvations in the left and right rear fenders. It's annoying because I don't know how they got there. I rarely take it anywhere unless it's to someone's house where I park in their driveway or garage.

In any case, if someone were to accidentally lean on these fenders do they dent easily? anyone else have this problem? I've never noticed it on my 99 prelude before.....

thanks

Also, I bought it used from Carmax, but it's never been in an accident according to the history checks. Is it possible that these two fenders were part of an accident and it's now changing shape???? I dunno.

The 1 owner was from Clarkesville, VA.

thanks

It appears they do. These fenders seem a lot thinner than what my prelude had. It's another reason how they must have gotten the S2000 in the 2700 weight class.....

Also, the hood is much lighter than other Honda cars too. I guess it makes sense. I gotta make sure no one leans on my S2000 anymore, haha.

Fenders do indeed dent easily so the people who you let get near your car need to be careful. Usually the dents can be removed by a paintless dent repair shop. I get my car gone over once or twice a year to help keep it looking new.

the fenders dent very easily. I would suggest getting recommendations from a couple dealerships as to who they use to remove dents. If they trust their new cars, im sure your car should be fine.

I had a few dent removed and the guy did an outstanding job, I can't tell where the dent was.

Thanks. No more people leaning on my rear fenders, that's for sure.

I will get my man at the bodyshop to clean it up for me....

thanks

PDR. The rear fenders are welded on, IIRC.
