I really don't know what the big deal is about a glass rear window. Frankly, I've had no problems keeping my plastic one clear and in tip top shape.

Just my two cents of info here, but I also heard from my salesguy about the rumored glass window. He said he had attended a demo show for sales peeps and was told by the Honda guy that their would be a) glass rear window for MY2002 S2000s, and b) retro kits for MY2000 and MY2001 cars. No price info, no date available, no more info. Thats what he said, just passing it along.

I agree with Rick; while I don't care too much for the plastic window it's really not that bothersome. I use Plexus and the top stays mostly down during the summer (parked in garage). Had the car since late '99 and I've just become used to the way it is. Defroster would be nice though

It may come with a glass window but at what cost? The top has to fold in certain places so I can only imagine that they will have to sacrifice the size of the window. I can't imagine that they will create a window that is larger than the dish that the top folds into behind the seat. As it is now, there is a significant blind spot on my drivers side so in the interest in keeping my car as straight as possible by not cutting into another car, I think I prefer the possibley larger plastic window. It's much cheeper to replace than the car or maybe even me. Of course you all bring up a good point that the top is down most of the time so my blind spot issue is mainly a mute point.

IF the window is as large or even larger than the plastic one then it will definatley be worth the wait. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

Cheers......
