Rear Humming
I noticed a long time ago in my AP2 whenever i made a sharp turn slowly there would be a humming sound in the rear. I dont think its a big problem (or i hope it isnt) and just curious to know whats making that sound.
i tried searching "AP2 rear humming" or "rear humming turning" but not much topics came up on the search
TIA

I used to have a problem like that but only at low speeds from a stop. It would sound like the rear was rubbing on the fender or something.
Took it back to Honda and it was a bad rear diff.

this is most likely a normal sound. its the lsd doing its job!
My AP1 does the same thing. Half or full lock reverse or forward. It makes this low "howl" or "hum" when ever I back out of a parking space and roll forward (very slow speed) or do a really slow full lock U-turn. Nothing wrong with the diff-the LSD is doing what its supposed to.
