Default Attention 'Valentine I" owners:

Where from your experience is the best place to locate the Valentine I radar detector; on the dashboard, or between the seats - above the little storage box?
Thank you in advance.

Hardwired under the rearview is the cleanest IMO.

I hardwired mine and hung it from the passenger visor. They lose use of the visor, but I didn't honestly care. Gave a great view for the V1 out the front and back, and was the least invasive install I could imagine.

I have mine centered on the dashboard, set back from the window an inch or so. This way, I can slip one of those sunscreens between it and the window, which helps disguise it when parked.

I thought about between the seats, but I don't have the remote read-out and, besides, all that noise over the shoulder there would be distracting. HPH

I have mine hardwired right below the rearview mirror as well, with the remote display above the steering column. Plus its still easily removable when you park. Looks clean too without the clutter or wires.
