Removing badges

there's a great thread at ricks on how to remove the badges..

sun i understand that you want a clean car but before i saw pfb's pics i've never seen the holes covered up like that before..

I removed the side badges from mine by heating them with a hairdryer and pulling them off, the glue was removed with meths and a quick polish. I think the car looks much much better without the side badges on.

... or you can leave your car out in the 100 degree heat and pull them off. No hairdryer necessary.

Hi all

Just a status post, the side badges went off without any hick-ups. As Joe wrote, I just put the car in the sun and let that do it's work. But funny enough on one side all the glue stayd on the car and was impossible to get off without the use of harsh substances. In the other side all the glue stayed on the car as well, but here it could be pealed off very easily - strange !!!

So no badges any more on my baby, tomorrow it's time for the speaker upgrade !

Went to rick's didnt see anything on removing the badges?? Can someone just tell us how they got rid of the holes...are there any tricks?
