Hi All,

Does anybody know of any manufacturers that produce a scratch remover for plastic interior panels? While my car was being worked on for the seatbelt recall, I got a few minor scratches in both center console doors.

Now, the Dealership has agreed to take care of this via a third-party detailer, but I thought I'd try to clean these up myself first (they're not that bad...just annoying). I tried the Meguiars rear window cleaner, but I guess the abrasive additive is not tough enough for the console plastic.

Anybody have any ideas? Thanks in advance!

If it doesn't meet your level of satisfaction, the dealer should replace the scratched pieces. You should never have to settle for anything less.

Talk to the Manager, the Manager's Manager, etc. until you get what you deserve. If you go high enough, they'll take care of your request. Besides, any damage they do while they are working is their responsibility.

Sometimes, you have to be a jerk!
