I feel you all on this. I would love to ditch the badges, I just don't think it is worth the money. I removed mine and took off all the adheasive from the badge and car. Now when I wash my car I just pop them off in 2 seconds and put them back on when I am finished drying and waxing. I was thinking on painting them the same color as the car so they blend in are are less noticeable.

 

So what I did was take some of those license plate plugs, which are color matched, and they fit quite well into the holes. I still want to have them plugged and painted, but it actually looks pretty good.

 

the new black H badges from hardtopguy.com.....do they have the same bounting clips?? do they have any stems at all or do tey just sit over the holes, and don't they come with adhesives applied on the badge??

I used Rick's S2000 acrylic badges but I dont think he can market them anymore. The original H is easy to remove from the rear with dental floss and the same way from the front except for snipping the pins.

 

Rick's S2000 badges are expensive lol. ekk.. something like 69 or 89 a pair? is that right>?
