Default Removing Interior Aftermarket Trim - Best Way?

Hey Guys,

I got my S2K last week and really love it so far. It did come with this silver aftermarket trim kit on it though, which I want to remove. It's on pretty good with some sticker adhesive and I'd guess it's been on there for years. My current plan is to leave it out in the sun to bake for a few hours and hopefully it will peel easier, or try to use a blow dryer. Anyone else know any tricks so I don't remove the paint on the dark silver painted areas (door handles/gauges around the steering wheel, etc)?

Here is what it looks like now:

I'd leave it. It'll probably look worse after you try and remove the stickers....

I'd go at it with a heat gun set to low, then bust out the dental floss to work it off.

If there's any sticky crap left use Goo Gone to get it off.

If you use Goo Gone, you'll take off the finish from some of the fake metal panels (like the rubbing alcohol center console "trick").

mine came like that as well. i actually liked how it looked compared to plain black interior so i left it as it is.

i think heat gun or blow dryer would work

I'd swap it out with another owner that might like the look before I would try to remove it.
