Default Replace Rear Plastic window with glass

I am interested in replacing my rear plastic window with the glass one. Would I get this done at a dealer or buy it online? About how much does it cost? Any inout is appreciated. Thanks!

I would think you would just order it from the dealer and have them install it.

Dealers service centers won't replace plastic rear panel with glass rear panel (they won't do the work). Not exactly easy anyway -- although I've heard some have tried (park a pre '02 and a post '02 side-by-side with the tops up to see the differences rear panel-wise).

Alternative is to replace the entire top with a newer one (but keep your old frame). Those you *can* purchase from your Honda Parts dealer (although one of our site sponsors www.hardtopguy.com will always beat Honda hands-down on price -- hardtopguy is the Parts manager for Ganley Honda in Ohio). Then you can search our website for DIY instructions on swapping the tops. There are many threads from enthusiasts such as yourselves (and me ) that have sought to upgrade to glass. I'm glad I converted my top recently.
