Replacement control arm
Sucks I just got into an accident. Took a left turn, swerved since I saw a tire in the middle of the road and ended up losing control and hitting a curb. So far I looked no body damage and I dont think my frame was damage but my control arm was broken. Anyone know how much you think it would cost to fix from the dealer? Thanks!

I think thats the rear knucle that is broken.
The part is probably $2-300, expect 2-3hours labor since it all has to come apart and the bearing needs to be pressed, add on top of that an alignment...your looking at prob $5-700 at the dealer

I mean so far when I looked undernearth I saw nothing else damaged. I hope your right.
Wow. Yeah knuckle.
You know there must be 3-5 wrecked S2K's a week reported here. Someone should keep come statistics.
I'd drop it off at a body shop, get a rental and a week later get your car back. They can check the frame too which a dealer probably can't (unless they're a body shop too).

i paid $160 shipped for the knuckle and $54 for the bearing. ( I install everything by my sefl)
Bodyshop estimate. ( using new OEM parts)
Bearing $ 74.33
Knuckle $ 195.12
Alignment $ 85.00
Subtotal $269.45
Tax 7.4 % $ 19.94
Total $289.39
Labor -----------------------------
Hours: 2.5 $297.00
TOTAL $586.39
NOw you have to add the Lower controll arm, which is $$230.73 ( part # 52360-S2A-000) + labor. so you are looking between $800 and $1000
