Default Replacement key

For anyone who needs a replacement key for their AP1. You can go to Honda and ask for a T5 key for your s2k. It only costs $30 and it looks exactly the same as the oem key. So no need to get any new keys programmed for $100.

while were on the topic of replacement keys, i was wondering if there is any place that sells the ap2 master key. the one that looks nice with the s2000 logo on the front key? mine is looking kinda worn out and wanted to buy a new one. does anyone know a place to order them from?

I originally bought a replacement off ebay for $15 and brought it into Honda dealer to get it cut and programmed. Honda service guy told me it would be $100 to do all that to the ebay key. Then he told me I could just get a T5 key for $30 which included the key, cutting and programming. T5 key is an OEM key with Honda logo and all. Great deal considering I was willing to pay $100 for just the cut and programming.
