Wow, that looks rough. I would contact Robbins about the delamination. They'll probably cover that under warranty.

As for the bar, it's integrity is probably ruined. Plus, it's not installed correctly. I take it they put velcro all over it to help it slide better? I don't know what all that fuzzy stuff is. There's a lot of strain on the top so once the bar is bent once, I don't see it working right ever again without some sort of auxiliary support beam.

Anyway, its suppose to go inside the two flaps that come from the area right above it. The flaps are suppose to go on each side of that bar, attach with velcro that's on them, then get inserted into the next bar. That might have a lot to do with the way its fitting together. Either way, they shouldn't have just pulled on the bar from the center. That's a recipe for disaster. If you need to pull or push the bars, it should be done at the corner bends with a guy on each side and while the top is unlatched or slightly open, never when it's fully latched and tight.

Has anyone had the rear glass part to separate from the rest of the top on the right and left side robbins upgrade? I had mine replace in June 07 and the rear bar got bent. The guy at the shop the top would not go all the way down and when they finally got it to the bar bent. We straightened it out but everytime I put the top down now it bends. sux
i did a robbins replacement around the same time, and am having the same issue with the glass coming loose from the canvas on the inside. it's not loose all the way through so that it leaks, but it's loose enough to make the window sit down lower than the rest of the top, and now it rests on the roll hoop plastic and rattles. annoys the shit outta me. i'd contact them, but i don't know if they could/would do anything about it because i can't even find any of my original paperwork. i haven't had any issues with the bars though...

As a tip, if you don't feel like contacting robbins for warranty work, I would recommend using an RTV type adhesive to put it back together so it doesn't get worse. Just spread it on with a putty knife and let it dry. Works well for patches also.

I contacted Robbins today via email. They wanted me to contact the distributor that I bought it from unless I had the receipt. I did have the receipt so I sent them a copy before I left for work. I will have to wait and see what they replay until I get home.

Well I just got home and check my email. Here is some of it "Unfortunately, your top is out of warranty, and it cannot be repaired. What I can do for you is sell you a new top" I bought this top on 7/07 and I can do math this is 2/10 so thats not 3yrs. So much for 3 yrs warranty. But they do want me to call them to disuss pricing for a new top. I guess I'll call them to see if I can get it for a deal or not.

Your top is not installed correctly. The rear most bow is not pulling back. Looks like the installer did not install the new straps as part of the retrofit??? I would get that fixed ASAP.
