Resealing soft top
Checked the search for information about resealing the soft top.
Other convertibles recommend spraying or applying some sort of waterproof sealant to the soft top every couple of years to keep it weather proof. Have not seen anything on this forum about this. I don't remember anything in the manual about it. Anyone done this and what did you use? How often do use use it and where do you get it?
This car is a daily driver here in the midwest so we see it all; sun wind, rain hail, snow. The car is 25 months old and maybe time for a reseal. Any information would be appreciated!
Thanks.

The S2000 uses a vinyl top, so my guess is it wouldn't need any sealant applied to it.
The owners manual mentions applying Shin-Etsu silicone grease to the seals every three to six months and not to use a "scraper or de-icing chemicals to remove frost, snow, or ice from the top or rear window." There is no mention of any special chemicals or sealants that should be applied to the top itself.
