How long did it take you to become potty trained? I'd say 14% as long.

I double clutch each time I down shift. Today, I tried regular rev-matching...

Wow! It is a lot easier to do, and very smooth.

I will try to forget double clutching and start getting used to regular rev matching.

And I agree on the seizure look... My friend always shifts into second before shifting into first... And it just looks weird in a 2008 Jetta...

Depends. But if you drive daily, I'd say it'd take a week or two before you start doing it automatically.

In the S2000 is it still good to double clutch? Or is just rev matching adequate?
Is there at least a benefit of double clutching? I have gotten really used to it now and don't think I would do it differently anyways but just curious.
