When installing Ricks console, do you have to remove the old carpet, or does the leather lay right over it? thanks for the input!

I think you have to remove the carpet and it installs or fits over the stock carpet

I actually was checking out the install directions, but I didnt see it mention if you had to remove the existing carpet or not. Thanks for clearing that up for me.

 

Know what? I decided to practice what I was preachin' and went to Rick's .pdf to check for myself. You're right that its kinda hard to know from the instructions (definitely don't get a sense of it from the pics). However, step 10 offers an inferrence that the carpet stays .



The leather console cover is a really nice mod by the way. I'm sure you're gonna like it. It was not my very first mod to The Bruised Banana, but it was (and is) very much appreciated for having made my cockpit feel more luxurious.

I put mine on last week.

Piece of cake. Tucking the plastic tabs in is the hardest part.

Next is the Leather Boot Cover!
