I'm close to buying a Rick's x-brace and it is the version one instead of the current version. Aside from having only one horizontal bar instead of two what are the differences? Any noticeable difference in stiffness? Does one interfere with oil changes more/less than the other?

I tried doing a quick search but didn't come up with anything. TIA.
