Is anybody's carpet ripping in their s2k? Both driver side and passenger side carpet has very minor rips starting to form.
If i take to an upholstery guy can they fix? Is it going to be expensive. The rips are very small so i cant imagine it would be all that hard.
Any suggestions?

would one of the "premium" floor mats cover it?

 

Are you perhaps just noticing the slits in the carpet for the floor mat retainers?

 

no but on my drive side door it is starting to rip from the floor mat retainer and making it bigger.
