4WD vehicles with their huge offroad tyres and gaping treads are also notorious for throwing up stones I found out last week. Thankfully the small stone that richocheted off my bonnet and into my windscreen left a barely noticeable mark. Why don't these people drive those things OFF the road? Isn't that what they were designed for?

 

Either get it repaired, or if you ask the ins co should replace with OEM.
