Default Rod Bearings

I need to buy a set of rod bearings for my 2001 S2K. I called all the dealerships around here and the best deal was like $100 including tax for the whole set. This is good, but they won't be able to get them until after New Years. Anyone know a good place that can get them to me sooner?

Thanks

Oh I want to go ahead and change out the banjo bolts while I'm at it. The dealerships around here don't seem to know what they are. Does anyone have the part #?

Product Inquiry, moving to S2000 talk.

You could always try an S2ki sponsor:

You'll need to know what bearing colors you need though.

Just out of curiosity, why do you need to change the rod bearings? How many miles do you have on your car?

^^ I have 42k miles on an 01. The engine was knocking so I took it to my mechanic. He dropped the oil pan and checked the bearings. They are starting to go bad and he thinks this is what's causing the knocking. This was after he checked the valves and made a few adjustments there. I also ordered the new oil jets. They should get in tomorrow morning. I just ordered them from the dealership and paid to have it overnighted. Wasn't a bad price - $147 for all the rod bearings, 4 oil jets, tax, and shipping. I'm also going to change the MTF and Diff fluid tomorrow. I can't wait to get this thing back on the road.

Oh my mechanic also did a compression test and all the cylinders were between 250 and 260.
