Sounds like a badly bent knorkle pin. I think Honda issued a TSB on that late last year. Be careful, a sheered knorkle pin can result in complete loss of ability to shift either up or down into 5th gear.

You've never heard of a knorkle pin? It's very similar to a sheer pin in the old Evinrude outboard motors. It was designed to break if the prop encountered an obstuction, saving the transmission/driveshaft from any trauma.

K, no i didnt even engage 3rd, grinded it! I know stupid, but i was concentrating on the Viper so damn hard i let the clutch out before it engaged the gear! Went to the Honda Dealership today and scheduled for that fix from the TSB on the first to second gear problem and there gonna fix the other problem to, they thinks its a bent fork of somehting that also has to do with the Syncros since there all pretty close together, either this is BS or not, doesnt really matter Honda's fixing it regardless.
