75mph in 6th gear = loud?

Anybody wanna tell us what 8500 sounds like in sixth?

i'm right at 4k rpms on the tach at 75 mph with stock rims and bridgestone SO-2's, 3's and Kumho ecstra 712's.

 

Redline is above 8000 rpm and top speed is 150 mph. Given that, it shouldn't be surprising that the car turns 4000 at 75 mph. If you think that it is too loud, wear earplugs. I wear them about 70% of the time in my S (and had to do the same with other roadsters that I've owned).

MY02 on cruise control @78mph blinked between 4100-4200rpm's.

 

All I know is red line in sixth is 165, the theoretical topspeed.

I have the flux capacitor installed on mine and my car does about 300mph and thats when I'm redlining in 1st gear.

 

I wish I could tell you what 8500 sounds like in any gear
