I agree with you on the sound quality vs. price, but with an already small trunk, I'm interested in this type of solution. I'll be interested to see if anyone goes this route.

All depends on what kind of result you want. Mine is mounted in the trunk 10" JL Audio w/ Alpine V12 = 450 watts pushing it. Awesome sound with the top up or down!!!! I think the set up was about $800-1000 installed with a custom made sub box
