"S 2000" Side Badge Installation
I recently purchased a used S2K and it didn't have the side "S 2000" badges on there. I purchased some from another S2KI user, but I don't know what kind of adhesive to use to put them back on there since they were used already. What are your recommendations for adhesive? Thanks!
There is a body molding tape made by 3m that is exactly the same stuff that Honda Used. I found it at O'Reilly Auto Parts. It is a gray tape with a red backing. It works great.
Or, you can buy a new set of badges from HardTopGuy for around 30 + shipping.

Just about any auto parts store w/ have what you need- moulding, emblem tape.
Usually 3M, as mentioned.
Comes in a fairly big roll- another option if you can't find a small amount (assuming it's not something you'll need again), is to just stop by a body shop- they'll probably give you some, or sell you what you need for a buck.

Just get them from a Honda Dealership. The S is around 7 dollars, and the 2000 is around 20. Both sides would then theoretically cost you around 60 dollars, and they will be brand new and come with the adhesive already on the back. I recently bought an 'S' to replace the front Honda 'H' logo, and the S and 2000 to replace the back H logo.
