Wow, probably one person in a hundred would man up to hitting someone's car - props to that guy. The insurance company will probably just put a new bumper on and charge $1k.

It's not horrible. But I'm pretty anal about my car.

your car would be clean if you were anal.

Haha. I thought I sounded pretty hypocritical when reading over it and looking at the pictures.

But it just got done snowing and it was 20 degrees outside yesterday. I'm going to wash it tomorrow.

Yeah its pretty cool that he told me.

Then again he is well off financially.
There were witnesses that would of told me.
He has 2nd block with me.
The principle and teachers heard my alarm go off.

Regardless I was impressed he came up and told me. Which is the reason I'm giving him the estimate and letting him choose if he wants to use his insurance or not.

There is absolutely no reason to go to the insurance company. You have a police report to prove he hit you. If he doesn't pay then you go to the insurance. Glad to see your doing the right thing.

yeah, at least he told you. i had a hit and run on my rear driverside bumper. it scraped my bumper and shifted the bumper a bit to the passenger side. it's not all that noticeable. you should be happy that you can get this resolved w/o anything coming out of your pocket.

now, if i were to take of my rear bumper, can i readjust my bumper so that it's not shifted? i'm not a body expert, so if someone can let me know i'd very much appreciate it.

thanks in advance!

Yeah , get your car fixed, but I would be praising the kid who had the balls to come up to you and tell you he hit your car. He could have easily just left and you would have to pay yourself. Props to him!

But he should also learn to park! haha
