Oh, no wonder you all think it is alot. He got my rim as well. Without the rim the esitmates are around 800ish.

The two I've taken my car to have said that the bumper supports are ripped and there has to be a new bumper ordered. Then painted.

That totals to 800ish. Then he knicked my rim as well. (you can see where he slid across my tire in the frist picture) So they are replacing the rim. The two I've taken it to said it might buff out, and it might not. So in order to restore the car to its previous shape they will be buying a new rim.

Got the rim? Are you sure there isn't any suspension damage?

Yeah I'm pretty sure. He just scraped across it, it wasn't a head on hit.

It's just a scratch but where i've been taking it they have said that it won't buff out.

Who knows. I'm not the expert. I'll let the collision professionals tell me what should be done.

Just make sure that they check the alignment. Hopefully none of the suspension components got bent, but since fixing such things can get expensive, you want to be sure.

The damage to the bumper is nothing. The skins are designed to take impacts, and are easy to replace. As long as the shop gets the mounting brackets straightened back out, and does a good job of matching the paint, the car will be as good as new when they're done.

That's always a good sign. When you hit the curb, you're in the spot...
