S2000s aren't overpriced in US. I think they are fairly priced (considering the actual dealing price, not MSRP)

The car still offers "good" performance by today's standards, though not stellar for its price range. One needs to consider that convertibles generally sell at a slight premium over hardtops ...

Who compares an S2000 with a CRV? Apples to Oranges comparison!
If you think its an apples and oranges comparison, I don't think you get the comparison. We're talking about how Honda can offer different models at different prices even though some models like the CR-V come with a bunch more equipment for less.

for the msrp being around 34, i think is pretty steep. this car should be between 25 to 30k imo.

First, no one (smart) pays MSRP for an S2000 anymore.

Second, I've come up with an analogy. Do you prefer fat chicks or thin hot chicks? You get more with a fat chick - bigger boobs, more cushion for the pushin, etc. But do you want those things or is less actually more?

Off topic but I LOVE YOUR SIG!

100% agreement here. Americans want plush seats, fancy gadgets and accessories that are not needed. You have to decide: Do I want a car that is comfortable and easy to take from point A to point B. Or do I want a car that is exceedingly fun to drive and isn't weighed down by needless features?

If I see a person in a gas station when I'm in picking something up...I can usually guess which vehicle in the parking lot is theirs... Usually the vehicle looks like the person! If they are well groomed, the vehicle is usually clean, if they are not it is dirty. If they are overweight they are often in an SUV or domestic sedan. If they are good looking and trim they are usually driving a "sporty" Japanese or German import in good condition.

I hate to stereotype but this is the way it is.
