S2000 for $15500
Pros:
s2000 durable engine, fun, responsive, luxurious, sporty look. fassst
Con:
cop magnet, tires and lots of it, insurance, dangerous in compact parking lot (car dings). too fassst
Didn't know all these before buying my car, but I don't regret one bit. Gotta 00 with plastic, but either convertible or hardtop anyways so don't matter to me. Price for mine was somewhere around there. You DO get what you pay for so.. for me, what slowed my progress to buy it was *THEFT and hard-core babying.

It sounds like an average deal, might be able to talk down a bit if its private party. Make sure a good mechanic inspects it though, preferably someone who knows s2000s. People do not drive these cars soft, they buy them to drive them hard. These cars are reliable if taken care of, but also very common to see them abused. Try to assess the clutch condition, listen for sounds from the rear diff, etc. After a purchase, I'd even consider inspecting the retainers (and valve clearance while in there) as its not uncommon for an unexperianced drive to over-rev these things either.
Its an awesome car, but takes a little more attention to take care of than your average Honda.
