Default S2000 + Anchorage Winter

Hey Everyone. I recently purchased my s2k in October. It finally snowed here in Alaska and I thought I would show everyone that you can drive perfectly fine in the winter with a s2000

My s2k I stock height with stock rims. I have Bridgestone Blizzaks ws70 205/55r16 91T on all 4 corners.

Here is some pictures when I got up and dusted a little bit of snow off to start her. (Sorry for the crappy pics, it was with my cell...)

Here I'm just trying to give a better Idea on how much snow fell compared to ride height...

I didn't have any trouble getting out of the driveway. Here is a small video that I took on my way to work shortly after I got out of the driveway. [Good Lord, didn't know how long it actually takes to upload/process a video on youtube....]

If you jump to around 4min in the video, I perform a small "drift"..

We got ~6"-1' depending on where you were.
I'm thinking about buy a gopro camera now. I have fun video taping
Let me know if you have any questions, I'll try to answer them to the best of my abilities.

Lol, Ya gota go to a empty & secluded parking lot a practice and get used to the car some more. As you can see I almost did, thankfully It was dead in the morning, no one was behind me, and I didn't loose total control.

Really? That's pretty much almost normal here. For it to be a snow day when I was in school, it had to be like -20 degrees and have like a good 1ft and half at least. But most of the time the roads are plowed, so I don't have to worry too much about doing "community service" by plowing the streets with her. LOL, used to do that with my Fiero.

Salt doesn't lower the freezing temperature enough in Alaska...well at least in Fairbanks when its 40-50 below zero. I just moved from there last year.

Nice to see another S2000 is residing in "The Last Frontier" - There are certainly some great photo opportunities in that state.
