Ok guys,
Well I'm a huge s2000 suporter and thats why I'm a member of this website. I plan on purchasing one very soon. But a friend of mine is in a dilema he loves the s2000 but he also loves the Audi TT he doesn't know which one he should get. He's really into performance so I told him I'd post this and get your guy's opinions on what he should get and why. All opinions are welcome. Thanks
I came very close to getting a TT, but changed my mind on it. It all depends on his priorities on the car. If he wants a "pretty" car and does not care about performance, or is even thinking of driving it in the winter, go for the TT, although it will probably be nothing memorable. If he wants a soul-stirring car that he will remember for the rest of his life (at least thats my case), the S2000 is a no-brainer.
I test drove a TT/quattro/convertible - felt nice, loved the ergonomics, and the low end power. but the power just ended... right there. its a heavy car, and feels heavy. doesn't feel too nimble, but its not exactly the stripped down sportscar like the S2000. there's nothing wrong with the TT at all - its a very well built car, but its not exactly for me. test drive them both, you know which is right for you.
My bro drives a TT and I drive a S2000. If your friend likes style then I like the interior of the TT. But the performance is night and day. I like the S2000 when it comes to handling and speed. The clutch on the TT is way to soft and you can
It never ceases to amaze me when people call the Audi TT a "sports car" Nothing could be further from the truth! Nice "Old Broad" car built on an existing Audi platform. Looks like a VW beetle on steroids.
I'm sorry, what was the question?
The S2000 is beautiful, with our without a hardtop!
The TT, well if beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I am not holding anything that lets me believe the Audi is attractive!
