S2000, bit of a girlie car
Until the rev hit about 6000 then it's an out and out monster, whats the easiest and cheapest way to make it a bit more exciting before you hit the all important 6,000?
Thanks

I know it's not cheap but the only thing I can think of would be a Speedcraft Turbo. Vortec was suppose to be out in Feburary but that didn't happen. Other than that you can just rev the crap out of it.

It kind of reminds me of my 600cc motorcycle. It's basically not that fast unless you really rev it (of course the bike is still a lot faster than the S2000). I kind of like that because you have to make a commitment to going fast if you want to go fast. It isn't easy and available, but that makes it less "accidental" as well. More purposeful speed.
So I'll add my voice to those that say "rev the crap out of it."

Not that much of a problem unless you're a drag racer or stoplight racer.

Many times replacing the header with an aftermarket piece like DC Sports, Comptech, Spoon, Mugen, etc. will give an increase in power. For example, in the Type R a 4-2-1 header will increase mid-range power, whereas a 4-1 header will increase top end power. I'm thinking this may be the case forthe S2K as well? Anyone know if this is the case?
