Hello out there...

The dealer tells me that the last sound I heard was that of the engine internals exploding. After being asked how fast I was going and other such nonsense, I was told that Honda would send a representative out to look at the remains and also look at the computer telemetry.

Does anyone know what, if any, information could be stored in the computer on a 2000 S2000?

Sorry for your pain. As for the the on-board, this has been discussed before at some length. Try a search. Maybe CPU would be a good key word; sorry, I don't recall.

 

ALPO, welcome to s2ki.com... although it's very unfortunate to hear about your engine. Can you tell us what happened or would you rather keep it discreet for now? Do be aware that dealers sometimes do browse these forums. After all is said and done, hopefully you can tell us what happened so that the rest of us can be more educated for the future! Things will work out.

 

Yup- I'm thinking the extended warranty might not be a bad idea.
