S2000 Changes
For what it's worth guys, I worked for Honda at the introduction of this car. The plan was 5,000 a year for only 4 years, with 2,000 a year coming to the states. But that plan was based on things that are changing. The car really just cost too much to make, the profit margin is so slim (to Honda). Also, the four year thing has to do with no redesign, Honda wanted them all to be the same. Recently I spoke with the District Manager of my area about this very thing. Honda is very tight liped about these things, but he seems to think that they may produce the car longer than expected...IF...they can raise the price to justify it, and if buyers will buy it with no redesign...aka the NSX. There's my grain of salt...he has been wrong before.
