Default S2000 Common Rust areas?

Like most Hondas, rust usually occurs around the back wheel wells of older Hondas.

I've never seen the S2k rust other than under those little rubber stoppers in the trunk.

Are there any other common rusting areas for the S2k?

i think that for the most part the car is too new to start having rust issues. the only way i can think that would accelerate corrosion would be living by the ocean.

proper washing and waxing should be just about all you need for the car. people that dont do that are the ones that have cars with the fading paint and such.

When I read the title of this thread I was thinking, "Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Jersey..."

I've got rust on my brake calipers. However, I don't think it would be a problem removing the rust.

a wire brush and some elbow grease should take care of that. Then hit it with some hi-temp paint. I think its dupli-color that makes the caliper paint kit

Yeah, that's what I was planning on doing, but thanks for the suggestion.

Well S2000's are about to hit 8 years of age...

I'm sure there are a few out there that never get washed, driven year round in corroding areas with snow/salt/extreme moisture...

Surprised nobody has found rust yet... except for under those rubber stoppers in the trunk on a 2003 GPW
