s2000 as a daily driver and the competition
I have just recently graduated from college and currently working at a good job and have decided that its time to get a new car. I has always been a honda fan and my first instinct was to get an s2000. The only problem is that I'm 6'3" and will be using the car as my daily driver. After test driving the car I am unsure about being able to daily drive for a 30min commute even with lower seat rails. I just wanted to hear from some taller owners about there long term ownership and people using it as a DD. The other cars on my list are the EvoX, 370z, g37s, e46 M3 and c6 corvette. As you can see the list is kinda all over the place but each car has its strengths.
Thanks for all the help and advice

I'm 6'2", ~175lbs. I commute about 70miles a day and have zero comfort issues. Infact when making a commute to fresno from the bay area (180miles one way roughly), I got out of the car feeling comfier than I did when I made the trip in my sentra econobox. I have plenty of headroom clearance, and zero visibility issues except at night on mountain roads, and the occassional oddly low hanging light. However I don't know if thats a height issue, or just the headlights themselves (doesn't seem to go very far IMO).
I get roughly 25mpg+ freeway (can easily hit 30, if i'm doing a steady 70 on a flat freeway), depending on how spirited/rushed I am. While it's no yaris, it gets exceptional mpg for what kind of car it is.

I deliver pizza in my s2k and love every minute of it.
So do all the milfs and 14 year old girls lol
for real everyone loves this car I get props all the time. This dude with an ls1 240 even wants to trade cars for a week. There is just something about the s2k....
I would get it man. The 370z is real nice too I looked into it but I got mine for cheap

Ya I was thinking about the 370z but I did some reading today and they have a bad oil cooling problem that requires an aftermarket cooler if you want to drive it hard for more than 10mins. Nissan has said that they may void warranty claims for cars with coolers so that's not to comforting when buying a 30k car.
My personal experience with the S is that it's pretty comfortable for commuting. I DD mine every day, and I'm 6'1", 205 lbs. I'm pretty built and so is my cousin (6'4", 215 lbs) and he rides in my car often. We both think it's pretty comfy... the seats are just built the right way for your body. My cousin has driven the car a few times and commented that he really likes the feel of it, even as big as he is.
Also, don't forget that you can cut the bottom seat cushion and gain 1-2" lower seating height.

6'3" and ~205. 36/36 pants.
No issues at all driving it 30mins each way to/from work, but I do have 2 other vehicles....no way would I make my S2000 my only car.
Practicality is not its strong suit.

6-3 210 here. I commuted about 100 miles in my06. It is not my only car but I really have no issues with comfort during my long rides. Though I do not drive the car every day. May want to thank about a second car. I love my car but I really don't want to drive every day. Sort of takes the fun out of it.
I'm 6'2" and I wouldn't have a problem daily driving mine if I lived in an area that had nice weather all year long. Since I live in OH, it stays in the garage during the winter. On long drives, I do wish the seats had some lumbar support though.
