S2000 " discussion" on the corvette forum.
I don't know about you guys. But I have not found one corvette guy that I like. Not one.....
There are some I have met that use to own vettes, and don't any longer that are nice people. But I have yet to find one that I think are nice. IMHO they are all stuck up and think their car rules everythign on the street and anything that does not match their performance or is not better muct suck in their eyes. And if something gets close, they sit there and try to put it down.
That is one of the MANY reasons I decided not to get a used C5 over the new S2000.

Man after reading that I am so happy I did not buy a vette. The people in that forum pretty much like a bunch of retards. Man we need to get some brains for some of the vette drivers.
P.S. Most of those Vette guys are retired old men trying to live there childhood dream any ways. Wife left them and they have no one else but there car to admire.

Ack... why bother arguing with such close minded people. I know a couple of good friends with Z06 and they appreciate the S2000 just as much as their Z06. At autocross they will gladly jump into the S2000 at every opportunity you give them. People who knows about car would not talk down on any car, except for maybe the Mustang GT

Well I read the posts there and I have a few comments.
*Some of them complained the car is too small. Perhaps some of this is because they are too big... I'd like to see some Corvette owners I've seen fit into an S. But I don't blame them for that complaint.
*These guys like to smoke tires. One guy says you have to shift it like you hate it, but look at the picture below that guy's post abusing his car!!
*They complained it looks too much like a miata. I never had anybody confuse my car with a miata, and the S2000 gets lots of looks. It wouldn't if the style was over a decade old. Someone should mention that their Corvette looks like an NSX.
*They complained about the windshield upgrightness. Well I have to say that I have no complaints after experiencing how calm the air is inside the car at highway speeds.
*They say the car is a piece of crap. Well they haven't seen the consumer ratings for the car. The S2000 is at the other end of the spectrum quality wise.
*These guys can't enjoy their car unless they know they are the king of the hill. I've come to accept this, and I go on living my life, enjoying my car while they continue struggling with their egos.

if i am reading this correct this man has EVERY problem associated with the s2k. i never thought i would see this, oh btw paint durability? many of us use things called wax, some even use stuff called zaino, they are good stuff you should try it out some time
[QUOTE]Um...anything you like about the car? Maybe it would be better if you trade it in to get a car you really want? Or is it a lease? Just askin'....

You have to shift it like you hate it if you don't want to hit the rev limiter. Thats where the power is.
The S2000 looks absolutely nothing like the Miata. The Miata is smaller and feminine looking.
