S2000 " discussion" on the corvette forum.
Wow, most of these last points have been very civil and cogent to the issue of car bashing. I'm curious though, Jpit, was your last mini-queef meant to trash AE's comment, corvettes in general or just what?
Why does it always seem that people complain that you have to rev it to get power. I don't hear that same thing about bikes. I've never heard anyone say "but you have to rev that thing to 13,000 rpms to make power". I can kind of realize maybe their not use to something that actually revs higher than a lawn mower, but SHESH.
. When I want to really want to launch my bike off the line, I rev it to 8-9k rpms and let the clutch do its thing.

I justed wanted to add one thing. I love ski.com, it's great for information and entertainment. My only criticism is that it's a tad boring. I go to CF b/c they say some funny sh$tt over there. Our OT seems a little boring. Am I the only one who thinks that? Don't flame me, but I wanna hear some opinions.
I didn't read the original info on the vette site (figured it wasn't worth it), but as someone who was recently deciding between a Z06 and S2k, I don't understand the debate- these are very different cars, each spectacular and each with incredible strengths & a few weaknesses. It's an individual decision - gotta love 'em both! 'Course I made my choice, & very happy that my Suzuka blue has been in my garage for the last week! I still love Corvettes, but for now, the S fits my driving desires best. There are so many awesome cars out there- let's just enjoy them all !
