Https://www.ThePartsYouNeed.com only wants $39.99 for the S2k remotes with cheaper shipping too.
I think I like BMW's the best. The one with the little BMW logo in the middle of the key that acts as the lock button.

Yeah, I like the switchblade style keys. I wish Honda had keys like that.
What is that in your avatar? What kind of fish?

I agree with the switchblade. Those are pretty cool although a bit large (VW & audi).
I really wish I had one of the proximity keys that come on the new fancy smancy cars
Cool. Never heard of a Figure 8 puffer, but Im new to the fish stuff. I have a decent sized porcupine puffer and a striped puffer in my tank now. I think the fish hobby is costing me more than the cars!

Porcs are great! Very very smart fish. Enjoy!
Btw, F8 puffer is a brackish water puffer, which may be why you've never heard of them, if you're only into the salty stuff.
Haha, yeah, I'm already about $5k in 2 months into this stuff...had the tank crash and kill about $400 worth of fish too, which wasn't fun.
Anyhow, I don't wanna get too offtopic, (jumps back into S2K talk)

I just paid $20 shipped(used/good condition) only because I didnt want to get ripped off by ebay or dealership, and I had 'a lot' of patience waiting for a good deal. I eventually found someone selling one on here. The instructions to program it are on this forum in the HOW TO section, easy to do by yourself.
Check this out, just came by it a few days ago:

Not sure if it can help...Good Luck

Thanks, I ordered mine from www.ThePartsYouNeed.com , just waiting for the order to come in. It looked like they stocked remotes for every type of car there.

I'd like one for another kind of car but am hesitant due to the above concern.
Yay!
I got the remote in the mail today. 2 days for shipping is impressive, but I checked Mapquest and they're only about 150 miles me, so I guess the timing is right.
The remote I got was new, still in the original Honda packaging.
I checked some of the other remote sites, and they all state that units are tested as well. I'm assuming even if the units are new testing them probably just makes sure the battery isnt dead from sitting on the shelf or something.
Anyhow, programming took maybe 15 seconds? Its amazing that a dealership would charge for something that can be done so quick, especially after already sticking a customer with the retail price.
At first I was nervous that I might have to cross wires or something to do it and I didnt want to short anything out. I didn't have to touch anything but the ignition key, the remote, and the car. Few turns of the key, few presses of the buttons on the remote and I was done.
