You should PM Cthree or post this in site info. He watches that forum more regularly.

My wish list:

Honda S2200

- 2.2-liter in-line 4-cylinder
- titanium connecting rods
- 280 hp @ 9500 rpm
- 200 lb-ft of torque at 4500 rpm
- 10,000 rpm redline
- 2500 lb. curb weight
- all-aluminum body
- all-aluminum suspension and bracing
- titanium mufflers
- 17" forged-aluminum wheels with 225s in front and 245s at the rear
- 6-speed manual transmission
- power-operated soft top with glass rear window and hard tonneau cover (similar to the Boxster)
- $40K to $45K

Just drop an uncorked J32A2 and a beefier rear end into the existing S2000 and I'd be happy.

300 hp
240 lbs-ft
<100 lbs extra
Awesome exhaust note and great midrange torque

Hell, probably wouldn't _have_ to cost any more than the current car, although I'm sure it would.

I would like to say something, but I will probably be flammed. I'll just read what everyone else writes, although it basically mirrors all my comments that I have made before. It's funny, but I'm sure that if I started this thread, I would be shunned off the face of S2k forever.

All I would really like is....

17-18 inch wheels
Automatic tonneau cover
A taller sixth gear for extended freeway jaunts (Yeah I know I shouldn't be driving on the freeway, but it is a 1+hr drive to lots of decent roads.)
A real glovebox

I 'm fine with the power, braking, handling, etc. but if they could be increased without bumping up the price too much that would be acceptable.

Sometime ago in a land far away, I happened upon a man on the internet....it was a fluke. That was before Shelli and Eric merged their S2000 related boards. And so before the merger I linked the US with Japan (and Shelli posted a cool little flag link). I hooked up a Honda Engineer with Shelli's board. One day a US submarine took out a Japaneese fishing trawler loaded with mid-school kids. I sent my new found friend an email with the condolences of myself and this board (then in it's infancy). Since then, in our broken languages, we have been great engineer to engineer best friends. I don't link him often to threads as this is frowned upon in his circle (i.e Honda)...but how can I resist? How do you say "crap in pants laughing out loud" in japaneese? Give me a week and I'll let you know..........
