Am I the only one who thinks our beloved S is loosing its soul?

"new" for MY2004:

No more F20C
No more 9000rpm redline
No more 120HP per liter
"SMG" sequential gearbox ???
A pure sportscar should not have SMG, IMHO.

 

My '03 still has IT'S soul. Who cares about the '04's?

 

 

I do! I'm planning of buying mine in six months...

And what about the price? I think it's going skyrocket...

All I had seen any evidence on was the 2.2 litre

 

Nothing is confirmed until September/October. But if the new S has a new 2.2litre engine it's for certain that we loose 9000rpm redline and the 120HP per liter record.

OK, so it's not a brand new, state of the art vehicle anymore? So what! It's still one heck of a fine roadster with above average performance and top of the line handling. Everyone knew it wouldn't be king of the hill forever. Does that means it's lost it's soul? I don't think so.
