I thought we were losing the Hp per liter record when the RX-8 came out anyway? Isn't that thing a 1.3 liter with 250HP? Or do rotary engines not count? Or does it have a turbo? Either way thats a lot of ponys for a 1.3 liter.

Rotary and turbine engines don't count. They make their HP in a different way.
We're talking reciprocating piston engines here.

I've looked completely through the Helms Manuals and nowhere did I find any mention of a soul. If I could find it, I'd probably modify it...either that of powdercoat it and take it drinking.

Cars grow...make the name define the car...and then expand the buying market by playing on it's appeal.
:LOL

Soul comes from the interaction between car and driver, not car and sales brochures. Those who buy the newbie will be just as enchanted with the car as we are with the F20C. #'s are for accountants, roads and redlines are for enthusiasts.

Also, an increase in MSRP (If it occurs) is not such a bad thing for OUR cars. It will help them retain resale value.
Imagine a price DROP !
Now, that would most definitely suck!!!!!
Cheers,

If you are concerned that the '04 will loose it's soul and it will have a higher MSRP, then wait and buy an '03. It's comes stock with soul and will be CHEAPER because everyone will want the '04.
