s2000 an Oil Burner
Under other subjects I've been reading about the S2000 tendency to burn oil up till about 7.5k miles. I've just touched 2000 miles on my S. Drove it carefully during first 500 miles and after that maybe once per 100 miles I take it up above 8k rpm - zipping up the freeway ramp.
I notice no exhaust smoke and at this point the oil level is where it was when new.
Someone mentioned a quart every 1000 miles. That's as bad as my Ford diesel - they normally burn that much oil.
It seems like a lot of oil for a healthy gas engine to burn- especially a Honda.

After following break in procedures to the "T", I have 1000 miles
and the oil level hasn't moved since the day I picked it up at
the dealer. I check it in the morning after it's sat all night.

I checked my oil for the 1st time at 1100 miles and its at the 3rd X from the top. Is it better for me to go ahead and top of it off to the H or is it ok where it is?
If I was to fill it up, how much do I need to put in? Whats the conversion for numbers of Xs to quarts?
