Would you guys be interested in this?

I'm not saying that it will happen, but it likely could. We (S2KCA) are talking with Zymol about them creating a wax system specially designed for the S2000. I believe they have one for the NSX. It would be similar in nature to the way that they approached that.

Here's the "rub" (pun intended) ... it would be available to S2KCA members only as one of the coolest benefits so far...

I don't have technical details on the wax, just gauging interest.

What do you think? Would that be the coolest thing in the world? I really like the idea...what about you?

I don't know much about waxes and polishes, but how and the heck do you make one specifically for one car?? I know not all paints are the same, but can they be that different.

I only use Zaino and I can't imagine a wax or polish doing better then Zaino. Maybe just as good, but not better. Especially in the amount of time it takes me to apply. I would have to see some real results before I ever committed to something like this.

But hey, if it truely made the car look better and protect the paint just as well, I would certainly be interested.

I seriously doubt there would be any benefits to this. It sounds more like a marketing gimmick to me. Even if they could develop a specially formulated polish how would it be better than "regular" polish? Would it take less time to put on? Take off? buff? last longer? I mean unless it came with someone to do the work for me I can't see the benefit.

I love the Zymol Ital as it is as soft as butter and goes on like it too. Then you just lightly wipe it off and voila, a beautiful shine with no effort. Quick and easy and although it is about $70, it will last a long time as you do not have to use much. Another advantage is that there is no unsightly white power residue.

Keep us informed.

Cool, well, we'll keep you posted. Zymol came to us and asked what we thought about the idea and I thought it would be nice to see what you all thought.

We don't know what will be taking place here, but it's always good to get everyone's opinion.

Stay tuned...

Sure, I'll try anything once. So long as it does the following;

1) is easy to use
2) is inexpensive to buy
3) is easy to get
4) yields great results in shine and finish
5) lasts a r4easonable amout of time before I have to rewax.

did i miss anything?

discount is fine, but it had better out perform what we are already using.

Sounds like a bunch of marketing hype designed to rip off fanatical S2K owners. Are we really supposed to believe that (a) all these cars are painted so much differently, (b) that the different painting method/materials merits a specific wax, and
