i had both for about 9 months. i commuted in my prius. it's a great car and fun to maximize mpg while driving. but if you like cruising in your s2000 or anything resembling the sports car feel, you're going to seriously miss it if you only have a prius.

Hey everyone has to do what they have to do, no one here walks in your shoes. A couple years ago I ventured into the boring vehicle market and away from sports cars, and man was that ever painful. I managed to get into an s2000 as a weekend car and got myself an economical suv for daily weekday driving now and it is the best way to go for what I want. If you can get a practical car for a d.d. And keep the s2k as a toy it is a very rewarding way to go. Good luck with any decision you make.

Or you could keep some of your balls and get a CRZ?

CRZ is a 2 seater. Go for the Prius if you like it OP.
Really? Didnt know it was a 2.

Are you talking about the CRZ?

While not really a fan of it, the CRZ does have one redeeming quality.
It is only hybrid available with a manual transmission.

If you're talking about the Prius , I agree.

Do what you have to do. My wife has a 2010 Prius and it is a great car (and drives a 2011 Miata when she wants something sporty). Upkeep has been ok with no issues whatsoever.

Your call. I wouldn't make the switch but, obviously, YMMV (literally and figuratively).

If costs are some of your major reasons then make sure you're look at TCO as well and not just cherry picking items to make you feel better.

If you don't even know the basics about it then why are you recommending it?
