ONLY 10 times?
Living in the "snow" belt (or the cold belt) I sometimes forget that people elsewhere might actually even consider driving this car in winter on the SO2's. Don't do it! It is people who have tried that tell everyone NOT to drive this car and get a beater.
The OEM tires are ABSOLUTELY ROTTEN!!!!!! for snow or very cold roads. Please do not try this and then go around yelling "The Sky is Falling .......... " and make those who know how to deal with this car in winter look like we escaped out of the insane asylum.
ps. It's not anything to do with "savings" to get a beater and pay less insurance. It's to do with enjoying this immensely fun car 12 months of the year. It will far outperform, even in winter, any true "beater" you can find. (Any newer 4 X 4 with snow tires doesn't count as a beater.)

I say park it too. In my opinion, its just too much of a risk to drive it in the winter and have some idiot crash into it. But, I may be a little fanatical. I do plan on keeping mine forever(?) so I dont want to take any unnecessary chances or get that damn salt on it. Indianapolis seems to have a habit of salting the roads on any threat of snow. I will drive my '95 Toyota 4wd Pickup this winter. I say spend the $$ that it would cost you to get the car ready for the winter on a beater.
