A replacement top costs roughly $1000 new. You can add another 500-800 in labor to replace it.

There have been some issues with wear holes forming, where the top rests against the top's frame. Otherwise they are pretty leak free.

The soft top is against on the frame with top down or top up? I'm thinking to get a hardtop. But I don't know if the soft top will develop the holes when I have the soft top down for long time.

I beleive the issue is with the top rubbing against the frame while being folded.
