That's amazing...

How does it handle? I've had problems before when towing something that was heavier than the tow vehicle... it kinda pushes you around - especially when trying to stop.
It doesn't handle like a big truck, but it does fine for the speed / distance I tow it. I don't take it on the highway.

So, everything is working fine if you don't count the burned clutch.
What "burned clutch"? My clutch wasn't burned. I just replaced it after 50K miles. I actually regret replacing the clutch, since it still had LOTS of material left, and the new one (OEM) isn't much stronger. I also replaced my oil, adjusted my valves, got new tires, washed it, etc....

You know, with today's computer generated special effects, that might not be solid proof either. You're probably going to have to drive it over to the east coast for me to see. I'll happily take the boat off you hands once you arrive.

It's got to cause alot of stress on the drivetrain and tranny. I would assume you shoudn't tow anything too much. Unless that boat is just really light.

You didn't read the other thread ... did you? The load on the drivetrain is limittd to what the engine can supply (assuming you don't dump the clutch)! It's that whole equal and opposite force thing from physics.

Thanks, but I'm not a skier. I don't even own any skis. I just plan on wakeboarding this season then getting a hydrofoil.
