S2000 still towing like a champ!
Update: I've put the boat in and out of the lake with my S2000 5 times in the last couple weeks. The adjustments that I thought would need to be made to the trailer aren't needed after all. I don't even have to back it into the water as far as my buddy has to with his Nissan Armada.
I have had some "interesting" problems during a couple of extractions, but they didn't have anything to do with the S2000. The trailer has a bad winch, which caused the boat to slide 3' back off the trailer while cruising up the ramp, and COMPLETELY off trailer a different time. The 1st time caused the tongue weight to be so negative that my rear tires spun all the way up the ramp. I figure the tongue weight was probably -500 lbs, since the gap above my rear tires was over an inch taller.

that monster truch thing is ****ing hilarious.
what do you suspect the trailor and boat weigh?
i hope this all works out for you, and i hate to sound skeptical, but i would be worried that you may have to stop suddenly and the additional weight would cause you to get into an accident

Gernby,
I can only imagine the stares you get hauling a boat like that behind the S. That's way cool!
Hey, why'd you replace with an OEM clutch? Would've thought you'd go with something aftermarket, given the hauling and auto-X... Just curious.

It is rare that people even see me actually towing the boat with my S2000, since I don't tow it very far, and never get off the back roads. I do get a LOT of stares at the boat ramp, from the red-necks that are towing their 15' aluminum fishing boats with diesel F350s.
I went with the OEM clutch simply because I got plenty of mileage out of my original, and it was cheap. I also feel like the OEM is probably the easiest to drive (normally).

Gernby,
Slap one of these outboards on, and the rednecks really won't know what to make of you.
Hell, fire it up when you're driving, and it's good for at least 10PHP (that's "prop horsepower")
