If you want some halfshafts, let me know. I have a pair taking space in my garage. Only about 12500 miles on them and in excellent shape. I replaced them with some from the Driveshaft Shop that have a higher HP rating.
I sure wish I'ld known that! I just purchased a pair of '04 shafts from hecash. Mine have been noisy for quite some time. It is the same clicking noise that TypeSH's '02 made at far less mileage than mine, and his wasn't nearly as abused as mine...

Just out of curiousity, what's the tongue load on your new boat/trailer combo? looks like the longitudinal CG is fairly far fwd on that trailer.
The new(er) boat actually weighs a little less than the last one (even though it is 2' longer), but it does have more tongue weight. Acording to my bathroom scale, it is just over 200 lbs at the hitch.

One thing that I haven't mentioned is that I am going to have to make some "adjustments" on the trailer so that I can launch it with my S2000. As it is now, the trailer is WAY too tall. Even with TypeSH's Armada, it is too tall. I'm going to have to move the trailer's axle above the leaf springs, and maybe get smaller tires. Otherwise, I would have to back my S2000 way too far into the water to get the boat floating.

I remember reading before that you don't tow it too far or at speed, and easier/cheaper solution (than flipping the axle/spring combo) might just be to cut off the tongue, weld 3'-4' of box in there and weld the tongue back on. Some boat ramps have some pretty good drop offs below the waterline and you wouldn't want to bottom out your trailer). That said my best friend went all out with his mastercraft and went with a matching metallic cobalt blue paint scheme for boat/CJ5/trailer (including matching the boat and jeep upholestry) and even matched up the trailer rims and tires to the jeep's, I wish I had a pic but it was ultra sweet!
Good luck!
Mike
