Hi Kodokan, any word on a seat lock restock yet?

 

I work at a Land Rover Dealer, but I know the Data Dot system is readily available to all dealers. Its just whether or not they choose to instal/use it, kind of like lojack.

Nothing yet. I sent an e-mail on Dec. 20th, but haven't heard back.

I don't know how much time is involved in the manufacturing of the Seat Locks and Keys, but there is usually a considerable time delay between placing an order and receiving it.

McGard is also increasing the prices for the first time since our original group buy in '02. They've been warning me about it, and they let me slide on our last order, so I really can't complain. I don't have firm details on the increase, though.

I don't do anything to jeapordize my good relations with McGard. They did us a huge favor by letting me order in such small numbers. Hopefully, things will go smoothly (albeit slowly), and we will see see another round of Seat Locks in the not-too-distant future.
