Well picking up the OEM Acura Key today...
The disecting will begin!

 

This is one project in the making that I really hope succeeds. I have the JDM key and the key head is banged up all to hell.

 

Here's what my immobilizer chip looks like! This is from a generic key Honda sells for a cheaper price.

Interesting, BUT why does RICK HEZEL have a different chip ? ? ?

 

I don't know, maybe his is from a genuine Honda key?

 

Correct, it's from a key that came with my car.

Well... as long as they can program the same.. it shouldnt be a problem ? ? ?

 

i'm in (a second time) for the deposit thing. not to add more fuel to the fire, but wouldn't it be really cool if (either through etching or perhaps a small vinyl decal) you could personalize the key with, say, "Mid-Atlantic Region" or something to that effect?

 

Heheh... lets not get too carried away.. im just trying to produce a working sample first.. all the cool graphics will at a later time
